Since tasers have been issued to police in Australia there has been a small drop in firearm use HOWEVER the level of overall violence being used by the police with tasers is much higher. So now apparently the police can torture people and get away with it (more so), even if the person dies as a result of that torture. Like Antonio Galeano who’s killer faced no repercussions after he died in march after being tasered 28 times.
